Oh please, take me back to the start!

There is a time in one’s life when we all desired to grow up, abolish studies and work like our parents did; only not knowing of the difficulties and challenges we ought to overcome and unaware of the life altering decisions we have to take. That admirable period of time is exemplified as childhood. During the final stages of this phase of life and the early stages of adolescence did we start the journey of, as it’s commonly described as, “the best days” in one’s life;Graduation! The cliché of ‘best days’ has been cemented with it primarily because of the freedom we’re offered here when compared to our school days and the pressure-less studies we’re exposed to when compared to our intermediate days.

The days we’ve had during this graduation time are by far the most pressure-less with effective use of our freedom and undoubtedly the most enlivening, for we reach a new level in the virtue of fun we share. Bunking classes, eating lunch during lectures, texting while gazing into the professor’s eyes, laughing to the wit of the ‘comedy guy’ who keeps commenting during classes, “stuff” we engage in by sitting in the last benches, bunking college, bunking exams, watching every movie that releases unmindful of however bad it is and not to mention the new habits towards which we get inclined to and many many more mentionable and unmentionable things we did. This is the species of fun that we’ve never witnessed before and will probably never witness again. Reminiscing these moments will only schlep a tear down our face. These are the sort of days that we never want to let go. Absolutely not if our mindset is just the way it was while beginning this journey- lost and uncertain about the future. Reminiscing these days and contemplating about the future only makes me want to GO BACK TO THE START!

To all the good/better/best friends I’ve made here, it would be a shame for us to part. Nobody said it was easy, no one ever said it would be this hard; I only wish to get back to the start!
